Testimonials

“My mother died quietly in Peacehaven in October 2014. She had been a resident in Peacehaven for about ten years. I am extremely pleased with the care that my mother received over the years. In the weeks before she died the staff and the carers were most attentive, kind and considerate. I could not have asked for more; I was very impressed by all of them. My mother was very lucky to have spent her remaining years in such an excellent care home as Peacehaven. I would be pleased to give a reference if this is ever required.”

“We would like to thank all of you at Rosturk House for the kindness and care you gave to our mum during the last 6 and a half years of her life. In our view she couldn't have received better care - everyone showed her great respect and there was never a moment when we had concerns about entrusting her to you all. It can't be easy at times but the patience we have observed by staff and everyone in Rosturk House, in what may have been trying circumstances does everyone credit. We always received a warm welcome from staff when we visited and everyone always had time to talk about mum and any concerns we may have had, even if they were busy. We would ask that you pass on to everyone our heartfelt thanks.

With best wishes”

“A belated note to Tricia and your staff to say how grateful we are in the way you looked after mum. I have to admit that when she first came to Rosturk House I was expecting your staff to give lots of tea and sympathy but instead you treated her normally with lots of patience and respect.

I just wish that time would stand still for you so that when I need care home assistance you will be there for me! A big thank you to all your staff.

With best wishes,”

“We would like to thank Tricia and Rose at Rosturk House for all the care and attention that they personally gave to Mum and Dad, and also to the rest of our family at the times it was needed. Their attitude and support made the difficult times more bearable, as did the mattress and the endless supply of food!

Mum and Dad definitely felt that Rosturk House was their home, and this was evident by their desire to be there at the end of their lives. When Dad died it was easier for Mum, as she was already settled at Rosturk House, to adapt to life without him.

It is the management's sincerity and genuinely caring manner that sets the standard at Rosturk House and it is by following their example that enables the team to make Rosturk House exceptional.

We would therefore like to thank everyone for the kind gestures over the years and wish you all the best for the future.

Very best wishes,”

“Can I thank all the wonderful staff at Rosturk House for their excellent care of my uncle during his six and a half years stay with you?

There can be very few care homes of such a standard in the country especially with such long serving staff, which is surely a compliment to the management style at the home.

My uncle enjoyed his time with you all, and was particularly complimentary about the food, especially the homemade soup which he enjoyed daily.

Thanks also to the handyman who took him out for a drive on days out and also to the hairdresser who ensured he was always well presented on visits.

With my very best wishes and grateful thanks for your wonderful care,”

“On behalf of the family, I would like to express our thanks to Rosturk House.

I was made very welcome and given every support possible to be with my mum in her final hours. Without exception, all staff showed us both compassion, and care. I only wish I had found Rosturk House sooner.

With kindest regards,”

“Our mother has been a resident of Rosturk House for six years. She has a comfortable room, with en-suite facilities and a lovely outlook. The delicious food is home cooked and served in an attractive dining room.

We are delighted with the care our mother receives. The care home has a "family feel" about it - residents are made to feel like part of one family.

We can thoroughly recommend Rosturk House.”

“I would like to recommend to anyone looking for a warm friendly place for their loved ones, to seriously consider PEACEHAVEN in Lundin Links.

My wife Betty who has dementia, went to stay in Peacehaven two years ago when it became impossible for me to care for her 24 hours a day as required.

Since that time she has settled in and made huge progress with the loving care and constant supervision she recieves from the caring and devoted staff.

I know that while I am away she is the very best of care and I can wish for no more than when I get back she is in good health but more importantly comfortable and very settled in her environment.

I have no hesitation in reccomending PEACEHAVEN as a first class home for those who require love and continuous care.”

“Wilby House has a very warm and homely feel about the place, and the staff make you feel very relaxed from the minute you walk in, as they welcome you as if you are part of the family of the house, which is reassuring.

The care the staff provide to my mother is first class, showing her kindness and dignity at all times.

From the bedrooms, with en-suite facilities, to the sitting rooms and dining rooms Wilby House is immaculate and the staff are always ready to help with any request.

The care my mother receives is top class and I can now spend quality time with her without worrying about the her care needs as they are taken care of in a very kind-hearted and professional manner by all the staff.

I can only say if the times comes that I require residential care, I would be happy to stay there myself - First Class!”

“My mum has been a resident at Marchmont since 2009. We selected this particular Home for mum after visiting several care facilities in the Kirkcaldy area. This has proved to have been a very good choice as both the family and more importantly, my mum, are happy and relaxed with her living there. There are always plenty of staff available to tend to the residents needs and also to chat with family and friends who may have questions on the residents wellbeing. The staff's friendliness will extend to a bit of playful banter when appropriate, my mum really enjoys this and watching her laugh is a real tonic. Another fact with Marchmont is allowing me to take my wee dog in with me on some visits, my mum and most of the residents seem to find this therapeutic and want to pet and love him. I can honestly say that Marchmont has met all our expectations and continues to show respect and care in attending to my mother's daily needs.”
